AI consultancy

Your outsourced in-house AI team.

You don't need to hire an AI department, and you shouldn't have to guess your way through it. We do the thinking, the building and the training, then hand your team something that works. Most consultants sell you tools. We work out what your business actually needs first.

02 - The difference

Knowing what to build matters more than knowing how.

Think of it as the difference between a pharmacist and a doctor. One hands you what you ask for. The other works out what you actually need. We're the second one.

Anyone can wire up an automation now. The value isn't in the building, it's in the judgement: deciding what's worth pointing AI at, what to leave alone, and where your confidential information must never go.

Fig. 01 - deciding where the fence runs is the work. Putting it up is the easy part.
03 - Off your plate

What we take off your plate.

  • Working out which tasks are quietly costing you the most hours. i.
  • Choosing the right tools, including free and paid options you may already have. ii.
  • Building the automations and getting them into daily use. iii.
  • Training your team so adoption actually sticks. iv.
  • Keeping your confidential data out of places it shouldn't be. v.
04 - How we work together

Three ways in, in the order most people take them.

Start with the audit. Almost everything else follows from what it finds.

01 / Fixed price / around two weeks

AI readiness & confidentiality audit.

A proper look at how your business runs and where AI earns its keep, with a prioritised plan you own and can act on with or without us.

from £1,450 Book the audit
  • A. Workflow review across your team.
  • B. The tasks costing you the most hours.
  • C. A confidential-data risk map.
  • D. Prioritised, costed recommendations.
02 / Most popular next step / per engagement, scoped from the audit

Adoption sprint.

We build the highest-value automations from your plan, put them into daily use, and train your team so they stick after we've gone.

from £3,500 Talk it through
  • A. Tool setup and configuration.
  • B. First automations built and live.
  • C. Hands-on team training.
  • D. Documented prompts and workflows.
03 / Monthly retainer / cancel with notice

Ongoing AI partner.

Your fractional in-house AI function. We keep finding opportunities, keep building, and keep your team sharp as the tools move.

from £650 / month Start a conversation
  • A. A set block of build and advisory time.
  • B. New automations as needs emerge.
  • C. Ongoing training and support.
  • D. First call on our time when it matters.

Figures are starting points. The exact number comes out of a short conversation once we understand your business.

05 - Inside the audit

What actually happens in those two weeks.

01 - We listen

We listen

Short sessions with the people doing the work, to see how things really run.

02 - We find the hours

We find the hours

The repeat tasks eating time each week, ranked by what AI can realistically take on.

03 - We map the risk

We map the risk

Where your confidential data lives and where it could leak into tools you don't control.

04 - You get a plan

You get a plan

A prioritised, costed roadmap you can act on immediately, with or without us.

06 - Questions

The things people ask first.

  • i.

Will you just tell me to buy your product?

No. Most of what businesses need can be done with off-the-shelf tools, and we'll say so plainly. Our own vault only comes up when off-the-shelf AI genuinely can't be trusted with your most sensitive knowledge. If you never need it, you never buy it.

  • ii.

We're in a regulated sector. Can we even do this?

Yes, carefully. Confidentiality is the starting point of every engagement, not an afterthought. We'll show you what's safe with the data you have, what needs a stricter setup, and where a fully on-premises option is the only sensible answer.

  • iii.

Do we need technical people on our side?

No. That's the point of an outsourced AI team. We handle the technical side and train your people to use what we build in plain terms.

  • iv.

What do we actually get from the audit?

A written, prioritised plan: the tasks worth automating, the tools to use, the data risks to fix, and rough costs. It's yours to keep and act on however you like.

07 - Next

Start with a conversation, not a commitment.

Thirty minutes to work out whether the audit is right for you.

Common questions

What does the AI readiness audit involve?

The AI readiness and confidentiality audit is a fixed-scope engagement of around two weeks, priced from £1,450, and it is where almost every client starts. We sit with the people doing the work - short sessions, not workshops - and map how your business actually runs rather than how the manual says it does. From that we rank the repeat tasks quietly eating the most hours by what AI can realistically take on, and we build a confidential-data risk map showing where client information already leaks into tools you do not control. You finish with a written, prioritised plan: the tasks worth automating, the tools to use, the risks to fix and rough costs, yours to keep and act on with or without us. Nothing in the audit commits you to buying anything else from us; the plan itself is the product.

How much does AI consultancy cost?

According to the pricing published on this page, the AI readiness and confidentiality audit starts at £1,450, fixed, the adoption sprint starts at £3,500 per engagement, and the ongoing AI partner retainer starts at £650 per month, cancellable with notice and with no lock-in. The Simple AI vault, where it is needed at all, is priced on scope after the audit. Every figure is a starting point rather than a quote: the exact number comes out of a short conversation once we understand your business, is confirmed in writing before anything begins, and moves with the size of your firm and the scope of the work. Most firms start with the audit alone, because the plan it produces stands on its own - you can act on it with your own people, another supplier, or us, and nothing obliges you to continue.

How does the ongoing AI partner arrangement work?

The ongoing AI partner arrangement is a monthly retainer, from £650 per month, that works like a fractional in-house AI function: a set block of build and advisory time, new automations as needs emerge, ongoing training so your team stays sharp as the tools move, and first call on our time when something matters. It is monthly and cancellable with notice, with no lock-in, because the point is to be useful rather than contractually unavoidable. Most clients arrive at it after the audit and an adoption sprint, once the first automations are live and the question becomes who keeps this moving. We work on the island, in person, in your office when that is what the work needs - not through a portal or a ticket queue. The retainer is scoped on the call, in writing, before it starts.

Can a regulated firm use AI without breaching confidentiality?

Regulated firms are able to use AI safely when the boundary is drawn first and the tools are chosen second. According to Isle of Man data-protection legislation, which is GDPR-aligned, your firm remains responsible for personal data wherever it travels - so every engagement starts by mapping what is genuinely public, what can leave the building under a stricter setup, and what must never leave at all. Off-the-shelf tools handle the first category; a fully on-premises option such as the Simple AI vault handles the last, with every prompt and every answer logged for the audit trail your regulator will ask for. Confidentiality is the starting point of the work, not a caveat added at the end, and each recommendation states plainly what leaves the building, if anything does.

Why choose a consultancy that builds its own AI products?

Because advice is cheap and shipping is not. Simplepage AI is the consultancy arm of a software company that runs its own production AI: Eddi, an AI content management product for Umbraco, plus AI-assisted development on every client project. Data from our project history shows the working method - Sumlo was built in three days and Patch shipped in three weeks - and in 2026 that same method is what we bring to client automations. Everything we recommend has been run by us, at our own risk, before it is ever run at yours; and where an off-the-shelf tool or a licence you already hold will do the job, we say so plainly and charge for the advice, not the appliance.
